Welding Required for Installation. This Ford 8.8 Axle Swap Kit with Truss requires some welding skills.

Specifications. This Ford 8.8 Axle Swap Kit with Truss includes a 3 piece 10 gauge truss. x2 Leaf spring perches for 2 1/2″ wide leaves. These are 7 3/4″ long anti-wrap perches, cut from 1/4″ steel, with 5/16″ leaf pins. The perches alone gain you a net in approx 1 1/5″ in rear lift. x2 shock mounts from 10 gauge steel. x2 1/4″ u-bolt top plates.

Application. This Ford 8.8 Axle Swap Kit with Truss is designed to fit all 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ and Comanche MJ models. It will also work with any leaf sprung vehicle to swap over to a Ford 8.8 Axle. The 8.8 you choose as your donar can be either leaf sprung or coil sprung, this kit includes all necessary parts to install onto leaf springs, except U-bolts.

This is a Swap Kit. This is a swap kit only, and does not include a required Ford 8.8″ rear axle from a donar vehicle. You will need to source your own 8.8″ axle.
